The EFCC Act grants The Chairman a period of four years and &#8216;he or she may be re-appointed for a further term of four years and no more&#8217;.<\/li>\n<li>Following the suspension of the former acting Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, there was an interest in the tenure of the leaders of EFCC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><iframe title=\"Chairpersons of the EFCC\" width=\"1170\" height=\"658\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/D4To-ss7pZg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>There has only been one woman (Mrs Farida Waziri) leading the EFCC since its inception.<\/li>\n<li>Mr Ibrahim Lamorde has headed EFCC twice; once as Acting Chairman and secondly as Executive Chairman. He is the only Chair who has so far headed the agency under 3 different\u00a0 governments &#8211; Presidents Yar&#8217;Adua (2008), Jonathan (2011-15) and Buhari (2015).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Biodata of EFCC Chairpersons<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-1qd0xha r-ad9z0x r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">So far, Ahmadu Bello University is the favorite <\/span><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-1qd0xha r-ad9z0x r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">school of choice (3\/4) for the Chairperson of EFCC.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-1qd0xha r-ad9z0x r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">The youngest (42yrs) and longest serving Chair (1735 days) is Mr. Ribadu while the oldest (58yrs), highest ranked but short-tenured Chair (1268 days) is Mrs Waziri.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><iframe title=\"EFCC Chairpersons - Rank, Age and Universities Attended\" width=\"1170\" height=\"658\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/aehzJii2r7E?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-1qd0xha r-ad9z0x r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">Both Mr. Ribadu and Mrs Waziri had Masters in Law from Ahmadu Bello University and Lagos State University respectively.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Mrs Farida Waziri has been the highest ranked officer leading the EFCC.
